Minutes of Meeting due on 9th May2001

Minutes approved and adopted.

4.

Registered Weed

Ian Reid phoned Scottish Executive - they implied that it was the responsibility of Renfrewshire Council to deal with it. However Marion Anderson has been in contact with Graham Wyllie, Roads Department, Renfrewshire Council who in turn brought it to the attention of Amey/ Scottish Executive on 22nd May. Apparently there is a new Area Manager for the Scottish Executive - Donald Morrison (0131 244 0489) who did not know of the problem. Amey has no local knowledge either. They have however, agreed to take the matter on board and would be contacting Amey's landscape subcontractor to locate and quantify the problem.

Graham Wyllie also suggests that the Community Council write directly to Amey in order to make contact and also to ensure that they respond.

Ian Reid will deal with this and Marion will write to John Smith and give update.

6.

St Vincent's Development

Plans were submitted for private house to be built on corner plot, opposite old lodge house. This has raised various concerns with regard to position, access and egress.
