Minutes of the Meeting held on the
14th of February 2001

1. |
Police Report. One Drug seizure on a local farm. One
car stolen in Elmbank Road. Keys stolen through the letterbox. Police
have asked us to be vigilant. Neighbourhood watch to be alerted to the
problem. 'Do not leave keys in view or in the back of the door' |

Residents of Middlepenny Road/Place have raised very
serious concern with regard to the lack of gritting in the Winter Months.
The issue has been raised with Councillor Anderson, who has taken the
problem up with Ian Hamilton at RC. All the residents to write letters
raising their fears. The Community Council will write to support the
line being taken by M Anderson. RC removed the Gritting Bin in the first
place) . |

Registered Weed
Japanese
Knotweed is very abundant at the front of the village. To keep this
weed under control, a herbicide has to be used. The CC is to write to
the Council and raise the issue with them. The local Planning Authority
is aware of the problem |
