Minutes of the Meeting held on the 14th of March 2001

Police Report.

 

3 crimes Two house break-ins,Douglas/Seath Avenue, Gleddoch Golf Club, club stolen Police advise the use of Alarms/ increased vigilance.

 

2.

Middlepenny Place

 

Good news from RDC. Road to be included for gritting in future rota. Cars have to be off the road and no double parking.

 

3.

Registered Weed

 

M Anderson has written, awaiting reply from RDC. Also no response from CC letter. Await further developments.

 

4.

Internet Café.

 

Received with grateful thanks.

 

5.

St Vincent's Development

 

Traffic calming to be the last thing completed - a change from the minutes of the last meeting. CC to keep a close eye on the situation

Planning Applications

 

Two noted:
tree pruning
additional windows
no discussion.

Playing Fields

 

Collapsed wall tidied up, RDC has the missing stones. Drain at the bottom of Station Road fixed, vast improvement

Playing Area

 

Middlepenny Road/Community Hall. Risk assessment to be carried out on the playing apparatus. M Anderson to write to RDC re this.

Langbank Primary School
 

Full and frank discussion regarding the Primary School/Rateable value of properties within the village and the amenities that are provided by RDC

Doggy Bins
 

In place and in working order.

Community Service
 

To be dealt with in due course.

Sewage Transportation
 

No further movement has taken place.
 

13. April Meeting- Open Meeting

Ryan Cairney from Water Authority to be invited.
14.

Station Road

Possible closure due to improvement of water supply to Gleddoch Hotel. Advance notice will have to be provided. Problem of access for Fire Brigade in the event of a fire - Neil Barrington to make enquires with Fire Service.

15.

AOCB

Damage to property at the bottom of Middlepenny Road, due to School bus reversing. Bollards may be required to prevent this in the future. This may affect the ability of School bus to get up the hill.
